I was visiting Moab Utah for the first time end of March thru beginning of April. Being from New Jersey I found Moab’s surroundings to be both strange and beautiful, I met a friend from Jackson Wy. Whom I had been promising to meet there for six springs but never made it. He was my guide, driver and old friend every day for two weeks and really knew the area well. We hiked, climbed and mountain biked everyday for two weeks, a blast. Every time we went North out of town we passed a superfund site being cleaned up that he said had been going on for as long as he could remember. It was the site of an old Uranium mining operation and we guessed it had killed many miners in its day.
This got me thinking as I looked out from the trails we hiked in Arches and other places. As I peered out over the amazing landscape the arches, valleys and mountains I couldn’t help but wonder, do the people who rightly own all of this beauty really want what’s left to be torn apart and polluted in the name of data centers and AI? All of the children whose parents had the brains and opportunity to teach them to see, understand and enjoy this great natural beauty which by rights should be their inheritance. This all in the name of feeding Americas tech and banking oligarchs the rest of the wealth they haven’t already trapped. With the AI and data centers they largely will replace us and be able to trap more of our wealth and leave our over weight, lazy, undereducated and Godless children to scrape along for their breadcrumbs..
Look around and see what’s happening to us. After January 6th they hunted down and illegally jailed hundreds of Americans some received severe punishment. Why? Because the people actually rose their heads up finally in protest of the wrongs perpetrated by their government. They shot point blank a short unarmed woman and tried to show her murderer to be some kind of hero. Recently some young person thru a maltove cocktail at Sam Altmans iron front gate. To protest his frustrations at what Altman is funding and is being charged with attempted murder, arson and other crimes. Again how dare a person raise his hand against a tech oligarch. Now in the NY metro area we are literally watched by camera and our movements tracked everywhere we go every second of our lives. The true crime of January 6th is it wasn’t 25000 armed American citizens leading every politition along with the lobbyists to the end of DC and telling them never come back we are starting this over.
I believe the only course for us is.take the smart phones from your children, discontinue your use of all social media, introduce your children to God and help them understand they are Gods own creation and can never be usurped by a machine. Walk around the block and try to meet all your neighbors and learn to discuss issues you have in common. Stop using door dash and go sit down in the local dinner or restaurant and chat with the help and people around you. Become social again and get ready to save we the people.
